Hatte die letzten Tage enorme Probleme mit dem Inet: geht, geht nicht, Router meldet, daß der WAN Gateway "not reachable" ist, nach reboot des Routers gehts wieder für 5min oder auch 10Stunden

Heute geht gar nix mehr, reboot ist wirkungslos, Modemreset bringt nix.
Ich ärger mich da seit über 1h mit dem Router rum (mit meinen Nichtkenntnissen von Netzwerkeinstellungen).
Als ich schon verzweifelt aufgeben will, kommt mir noch eine Idee: ich aktiviere DHCP fürs WAN - und hab plötzlich eine neue IP, 2 neue DNS und alles geht wieder.

Können diese Är.sche das nicht bekannt geben? Wozu das ganze? Ändern die wieder was? Weiß wer was genaueres?
