hi,

hab odigo (auch so ein icq-verschnitt) und bei dem gibt's das feature "homepager". unten ist die beschreibung wie das funktioneren soll. es ist dazu nicht nötig irgendetwas anderes (homepage modifizieren,..) zu machen:

Homepager Q: What is Homepager? A: Homepager is a device that lets you monitor your homepage or any other specified Web page. It displays in real time how many users, both visible and invisible, are surfing on your page, and how many notes have been posted there. You can keep Homepager open on your screen at all times, or minimize it to show the result in your system tray. Note that putting a URL of a site (e.g. http://www.odigo.com ) will show you the number of users in all pages of that site.
