Nö, die Archive sind in etwa gleich gross. Liegt IMHO rein am Kompressions-Algo.

vielleicht liegts daran, dass er Zip ned so stark komprimieren kann

Ist bei mir nicht anders. Archive mache ich aber trotzdem nur .zip da das komprimieren
nach ZIP mit WinRAR schneller geht als nach RAR. Klingt komisch, ist aber so.

Ja, damals bei XP gab es Beta von SP2. Die hatte ich damals, hatte aber fast 0 mit dem finalen zu tun. (Also Interface mäßig)

Würd' auch Vista kaufen, wenn ich Betriebssystemer wär.

Da ich aber Anwendungsprogramme laufen haben, bleib' ich aber bei XP

Schon vergessen? Die waren alle nicht stabil.

ich hab auch den C2D mit 2x2GHz und 2GB RAM im Laptop ... najo Leistungsindex hab ich 4,7 von 5 ... also so schlecht kann's dann bei dir auch ned laufen!

ganz meiner Meinung ... früher hab ich noch WinZip und WinRAR parallel verwendet, aber seit ca. 2 Jahren verwende ich nur mehr WinRAR, da es einfach - ja wie du sagst - komfortabler ist!

Hmm, müsste ich probieren (wenn der Update nicht mehr Beta ist).
Da mein voriges Notebook ein P3-1GHz war, ist mein neues Vista (C2D, 2x2GHz) zwar schneller, aber ob es das Optimum ist kann ich kaum sagen...

hm also kopieren/verschieben/aus Zip extrahieren is schon irgendwie eine zache Angelegenheit ...

letzteres Problem habe ich mit WinRAR gelöst (wollt ich ja sowieso installieren) ...
