Notebook LW Reparatur

Liebe Gemeinde,

mein Notebook (ACER 634, außerhalb der Garantie) tut nicht mehr CDs lesen.

Für eine Reparatur kann man ja eines der Slim-Modelle einbauen, soweit ok.
Ursprünglich hatte es eine CD-RW/DVD Laufwerk, könnte auch ein Upgrade auf DVD-RW/CD funktionieren??
Welche LW passen nachgewiesener Maßen?
