A 3 month old Blackberry phone with a white screen fault was returned to Fonz Mania for repair or replacement, there was no damage to phone. This was later verified by independent engineer. I had initially been told to return the phone to Blackberry myself for a warranty repair but as my contract was with Fonz Mania, they are responsible for correcting any problems. The phone was returned to Fonz Mania. They later said they had returned phone to Blackberry under warranty. Fonz Mania conacted me after a few weeks and some emails from myself, to say that the phone LED screen had been damaged, according to report from Blackberry. Fonz Mania have so far been unable to produce or send me a copy of this blackberry report. Form your own conclusion from this. They offered to repair the phone for a £50 fee.Unacceptable!!

Point of law. Under Sale of Goods Act, Fonz Mania are responsible for the phone and within 6 months of purchase, any fault is assumed to be a manufacturing fault unless proved otherwise. They have no intention of fulfilling their obligations and rely on people getting tired of persuing any complaint. The phone has since been repaired, I have the faulty screen back and on a point of principle, am starting legal proceedings against Fonz Mania. Be warned, if you have any problem with an item purchased from this company,(based in a semi-detached house in London suburbs)you will probably have great difficult reaching a satisfactory outcome.
