nachdem ich mir gerade einen neuen tv mit 50" und hd-ready gekauft hab, überleg ich mir auch eine spielekonsole zuzulegen. da die ps3 noch dauert und zu teuer sein wird, kommt ja nur die x-box 360 in frage oder?

ich hab mich noch nie mit konsolen und so beschäftigt - aber immer wieder begriffe aufgeschnappt, die ich hier gern näher erklärt hätte, wenns geht

.) xbox als mediabox?
.) xbox speichert spiele auf festplatte?
.) xbox mit chip?
usw...

würd mich freuen, wenn mir mal die xbox-fans erklären würden was man denn alles mit so einer xbox machen kann, außer im original-zustand zu kaufen und original-spiele dazuzukaufen... danke

Also, wenn du nicht unbedingt Spielen willst (mit der XBox) und einen reinen Streaming Client brauchst, dann schau dir das Pinnacle Showcenter 200 an.

Das kann per LAN oder WLAN zum PC Verbunden werden und kann von dort Filme (AVI,MPG, WMV), Musik und Bilder streamen.
Wenn du dir Alternativ Software installierst (http://www.oxyl.de ) kannst du noch ein paar Zusatzfeatures benutzen.

Und das beste: Mann kann auch eine externe Fat32 formatierte Festplatte über USB anschließen und kann von der Festplatte Daten wiedergeben ohne dass man sich zum PC verbinden muss.

Übrigens: das Showcenter kann problemlos WMV-s mit 720p Auflösung wiedergeben.
Und ich hab mir schon ein DivX Film in 1280x720 angeschaut. Hat super funktioniert.
