Hallo Leute !!

Will mir einen DVD Player zulegen.
Hab dazu eine Frage:

Habe so an die 100 Kodak Foto CDs.
Gibt es einen DVD Player,der dieses Format mitunterstützt??

Bisher gab es einige ältere Modelle vom 838:
Aber genau auf deiner verlinkten Seite fand ich auch anschließenden Beitrag und der ist schon älter als die neue Version, die erst ab Jänner 2003 in den Verkauf gelangt!

First of all: There at least four different versions of Scott 838!!! And all are different!

I have a Scott DVD (SDVD 006A)which looks completly different compared to the SDVD 001A or 001S.

The 838 (006A) was sold in Germany at Saturn fo 99 EUR (including 3 DVDs !). The remote control included was made for the Scott 837. Therefore the Player is black, but the RC is grey. But who cares if the player is that cheap.

The player plays VCD perfectly. Even if they have a higher non-standard bitrate (1246 instead of 1100). time count and fast forward works fine (yes! some do not).
Even though I bought a european PAL-Player, it plays US NTSC DVD-R very fine. The drive makes absolutely no noise.

MP3 files play finte too (random play can be choosen). But only the first 11 letters fit into the display - bad thing if you have many songs of the same musician.

Fast forward goes up to 16x.
Picture quality is better then expected.
The add said "Region free", the manual sais RC2, so does the backside of the player - haven't checked yet.

All in all a good cheap player.
