Gruss an alle Geizhals.at-Forum-Leser!!!!

Etwas blauäugig habe ich mich vor etwa 5 Monaten für ADSL der Telekom Austria mit 4 Gb Downloadlimit entschieden. Bis heute warte ich noch immer auf mein Ethernet Modem...
Gäbe es vielleicht eine gleich teure (günstige) Alternative, ausser Telekabel, die wirklich hält, was sie verspricht???

Adsl der TA verspricht "Downloadgeschwindigkeit bis zu 512 kbit/s", im Endeffekt ergeben sich bei mir Downloadgeschwindigkeiten von max. 56kb/s ( Kazaa ).
Vom Upload mit 56 kbit/s bin ich auch nicht wirklich begeistert (des geht soooo lax, zum Senden von einer e-mail mit Beilage brauch ich eine halbe Ewigkeit)!!!!!!
Das Tauschprogramm Emule läuft bei mir nur extrem langsam, obwohl ich alle Einstellungsmöglichkeiten ausgeschöpft habe.
Wie habt ihr das Problem mit Emule gelöst??
Wird sich das Adsl der TA in der nächsten Zeit bessern?? Hab' da so ein Gerücht gehört.....

Was habt ihr an Erfahrungen gesammelt??
