Chello und Router

Hallo!
Mein Problem ist: Habe mir ein Notebook gekauft, einen Netgear Router und möchte das ganze jetzt zusätzlich zu meinem PC installieren (über Chello).
Trau mich aber nicht darüber, da ich überall nur höre und lese wie schwierig das ist, außerdem werden jede Menge "Adressen" und "Einstellungssachen" gefordert und diese Sachen sagen mir überhaupt nicht. Bin ja der totale Laie und habe eigentlich Angst das der ganze Installationsversuch ordentlich in die Hose geht und ich dann auch keinen Zugriff mehr aufs Internet habe.
Also bitte ich Euch um einen kleine Installationsanleitung, denn wie ich hier so sehe, gibt es ja jede menge PC-Profis.
