Das Notebook meiner Freundin muss jetzt nur noch Internet ready gemacht werden.

Aber da ich leider für genau diese Notebook Version keine Daten finde (Medion MD5385) Microstar irgendwas weiß ich nicht genau, was für eine Netzwerkkarte da drinnen werkelt.
AIDA32 gibt aber "Realtek RTL8139-Familie-PCI-Fast Ethernet-NIC" aus.

Nun, Netzwerkkabel angeschlossen, aber die automatische Suche nach den Einstellungen im IE6 funktioniert nicht (also es kann mit keiner Anwendung eine Verbindung hergestellt werden).
Im Geräte Manager ist ein PCI Kommunikationscontroller da, der keine Treiber installiert hat (also mit gelbem Fragezeichen versehen ist).

Die Netzwerkadapter (im Geräte Manager scheinen folgende auf: 1394 Netzwerkadapter und der besate Realtek RTL8139) sind aber korrekt installiert.

Was muss ich jetzt noch tun, damit endlich eine Verbindung hergestellt werden kann?

Hast du die MAC-Adresse der Netzwerkkarte bei Chello freischalten lassen?
