Nachdem ich 4 Wochen lang vergeblich bei der PCKauf2000 GmbH versucht habe, ein TomTom One zu ergattern, habe ich mich gestern nach einem neuen Händler umgesehen. Kraemer-Automotive hat es dann, man soll es ja nicht glauben, geschafft, mir innerhalb von nur einem Tag die bestellte Ware zu liefern. Und ich hatte erst um 16:30 Uhr bestellt!! Es geht also auch anders...

At first, I had a go at "Geizhlas" and selected Europe, which I have been using for quite some time now. I have also been an active internet purchaser EU/USA for a couple of years now, so I think I have gathered a fair amount of experience on the subject. Of course wanting to purchase a Garmin 360 T sat nav sytem - a maker I know for their reliable performance (to my mind better than some other major EU companies in the field), I naturally went for the "Bermerkungen" over the shops. I've known some of them, but certainly not Krämer. So by the time the product finally reached me, and although, I haven't completely unpacked the Garmin itself - I can for sure say that Krämer is well worth a visit and purchasing through their web outlet is, by all accounts, highly efficient. Everything went "reibungslos" as the Germans say. Even if it meant shipping the stuff to France (Paris) and everybody knows that everything in this country is in a total state of coma during the summer holidays, so are the standard postal services there too.
So I gather that if you require absolute express shipment to foreign countries you can ask Krämer Automotiv to arrange this for you.
On the whole GO FOR THIS SHOP you won't regret it as far as service is concerned. I only hope the product will work accordingly, but the box arrived unharmed, so why be pessimistic at all ? Garmin enjoys a solid reputation both for terrestrial an maritime GPS. I still own a
Garmin 48 marine GPS and it has never let me down. And God knows in what mess it had been brought into ! The sea is rough !
