Liebe Leute im Forum!

Ich habe eine Seite gefunden, wo ich digitales Kartenmaterial meiner Lieblingsinsel Kreta downloaden kann.
In drei Files wäre ganz Kreta abgedeckt (Maßstab 1:80000 - 1:170000) - also Typ Road, nicht Wandern.
Die Karten werden grundsätzlich in Kretaforen gelobt und als aktuell - das ist besonders dort ein Thema - empfunden.

Ich habe mich mit digitalem Kartenmaterial bis jetzt nicht auseinandergesetzt und habe auch wenig Zeit jedem angebotenen Dateiformat "nachzugoogeln"

Meine Erwartungen:

- ich will offline Kartenmaterial am PC/Notebook ansehen können
- ich will am Tablet (rd.10" ) und einer Android App offline Kartenmaterial ansehen können

Ich habe keine angebissen Äpfel in meinem Hardwareportfolio - also Appleverweigerer.

You can import the map to the phone via your Dropbox for iPhones or microSD card for phones with Android OS. On the first screen of PDF MAPS software press + to load the map into the application.

Mir fehlt zur Zeit effektiv die Ruhe und Zeit, um jedem Dateityp nachzuforschen ...

    Welchen sollte ich wählen bzw. welche sind am "kompatibelsten"?

    Sind solche Formate mit Freeware formatwandelbar?

    Welche App unter Android macht Sinn - welches Windows Programm ist für das Ansehen der Karten sinvoll?
