Er ist 8.6MB gross und passt daher auf jeden USB Stick.

Zu erst mal:
Ich hab nie behauptet, dass der FF besser ist, sondern dass er mir besser gefällt, als die anderen Browser, die ich bisher kennengkernt habe! Um wirklich entscheiden zu können, ob er besser ist, müßte man die Entscheidungskriterien festlegen und die werden wohl bei vielen unterschiedlich sein (bei einem spielt Sicherheit ne Rolle, beim nächsten Standardkonformität etc.).

Aber ich kann Dir gerne sagen, was mir am FF bisher sehr gut gefällt und was mich zum Umstieg veranlasst hat (Ich werde PlugIns, Extentions etc. unter dem Begriff PlugIn zusammenfassen):

-Adblock PlugIn

-Flashblock PlugIn

-die auf Seiten anpassbare Suchleiste
-TinyURL PlugIn
-RSS Integration
-WeatherFox PlugIn
-die Updatemöglichkeit des Browsers & der PlugIns auf einen Knopfdruck
-überhaupt die Suchmöglichkeit nach PlugIns über eine standardmäßige Integration im Browser!
-es gibt nen PlugIn, mit dem man die aktuelle Seite im IE übers Contextmenü öffnen kann! Hier wird also auf Coexistenzmöglichkeit gebaut!
-die Konfigurationsmöglichkeiten sind schlicht und ergreifend für mich einfacher und übersichtlicher. Ich fühle mich einfach wohler als beim IE.
-was mich an der Nutzung des IE mittlerweile abhällt sind die gravierenden Sicherheitslücken, die zum Teil seit Jahren ned geschlossen wurden bzw. wenn dann sehr spät. Und den Browser komplett zu kastrieren, damit keine Lücken ausgenutzt werden können ist für mich keine Lösung, dann kann ich gleich mit Lynx surfen ...

Letztlich ist es ein Projekt in dem ne Menge frischer Wind drin ist und die Leut offensichtlich noch hochmotiviert sind und bereit sind von ausgetrampelten Pfaden abzuweichen ...

Das alles ist als mein presönlicher Eindruck zu verstehen!!!

An die dumme Stirne gehört als Argument von Rechts wegen die geballte Faust.

Ganz nebenbei halte ich Gewalt für eine sehr kurzfirstige und unintelligente Lösungsmethode ... hier würde sich also laut "Deiner Argumentation" und meiner Interpretation die Katze in den Schwanz beissen!
