Naja gegen das Environment von z.B. G3 hats auch keine Chance, da sieht fast
jedes Blatt anders aus, jeder Baum anders designed, das kostet nunmal enorm
viel Speicher, sowie auf der GraKa als auch im OS-Ram.

Stimmt. Gothic3 sieht einfach mörder aus. Ich find auch die Anforderungen nicht schlimm. 2GB Brauchen andere Games auch schon ( Battlefield2, FEAR, usw....)
Optimiert für Dual core sind auch schon andere Games ( Jucid, Age of Empires3, usw....)
Schnelle Graka brauchen ja fast alle Games, da ja die Graka teilweise den Prozzi entlasten kann.
Was das auch viel performance kostet ist die enorme weitsicht in Gothic3. Man sieht um etliches mehr als bei Oblivion ( auch wenn ich es nicht mit oblivion vergleichen möchte ) oder anderen Games.
Ich finde es jedenfalls eine klasse idee so viel wie möglich in den Hauptspeicher zu laden, da es dann so wenig wie möglich zu unterbrechungen kommt und fall von Gothic3, so wenig wie möglich zu rucklern im spiel. ( gelegentlich kurze ruckler merkt man ned wirklich, da die fps immer bei 15-20 bleiben. ist mir aufgefalln

Far Cry gefiel mir auch sehr gut, aber von der Texturenvielfalt (die ja das
Geruckle im Endeffekt anstellt) stinkts gegen G3 ab

Far Cry sah bzw. sieht immer noch gut aus. Und für damal hielten sich die anforderungen in grenzen ( für die Optik )
