Hallo!

Diese Woche ist es soweit, und ich werde mir eines der oben genannten Handys holen, weiß aber noch nicht genau, welches es werden wird, deswegen bräucht ich eure Hilfe!

Gibt es große Vor/Nachteile bei einem der beiden Handys, Apps gibts ja für beide in Hülle und Fülle! Ich möchte das Handy gern für Telefonieren, Internet/Mail und Navigation benützen, welches wär da zu empfehlen (Preis ist nicht das Hauptkriterium!)

Ich war schon fast droben am Android-Zug, aber was mich mittlerweile stört, ist die OS-Situation - was jetzt fürs Milestone spezifisch kein Problem ist, was ich aber generell bedenklich finde.

Es kommen Android-Handys mit allen möglichen Versionen heraus. Es gibt wohl 1.5, 1.6, 2.0 und 2.1 - selbst jetzt kommen noch neue Geräte heraus, mit 1.x, was zum Teil verständlich ist, weil manche Geräte einfach nicht schnell genug zu sein scheinen für 2.x.

Was den Apps Store angeht, soweit ich das verstanden habe, kommt's mal drauf an, welche Auflösung Dein Handy kann, welches OS es hat, und bei manchen (weiss nicht, ob es überall schon gefixt ist) auch ob es gebrandet oder frei ist. Mit anderen Worten, man scheint mit jedem Gerät eine individuelle Menge an Apps im Store zu sehen. Oft weiss man wohl nicht, warum (isses jetzt die Auflösung, das OS...?).

Abgesehen davon, und das ist jetzt auch nur eine allgemeine Anmerkung, da fürs Milestone direkt nur bedingt relevant, ist es wohl bei allen Handys <2.1 fraglich, ob es jemals ein OS-Upgrade geben wird; momentan der Fall z.B. bei den Samsungs und auch beim Acer, das gerade herausgekommen ist. Bei Acer scheint es eines zu geben in Bälde.

Mit anderen Worten: ich bin jetzt kein Fan des iphones, aber was Google da für eine Verwirrung produziert hat mit den OS-Versionen, hat Apple wohl vermeiden können.
