Durch die geposteten Fotos bin ich jetzt auf den Geschmack gekommen.
Welche Kamera (wennmöglich mit bereits beigepacktem Objektiv) in der Preisklasse bis ca. 600.- wäre zu empfehlen?
Klar, dass es zu diesem Preis kein Überdrübergerät sein kann, es sollte halt brauchbar sein.

In welchem Kamera-Modus hast den die Bilder geschossen?

Also rein technisch fällt mir auf, daß du meist eine zu hohe ISO verwendest, was leider einer der Hauptnachteile der 400D ist (so man nicht nur im AUTO-Mode fotografiert), da sie leider keine intelligente ISO-Automatik unterstützt.
Nicht weiter schlimm, nur mußt du öfter manuell eingreifen.

1. Bild
ISO 200, Verschlußzeit 1/400s, Brennweite 21mm, f/10 -> besser wäre gewesen
ISO 100, Verschlußzeit 1/200s, Brennweite 21mm, f/10

im nächsten Bild ist es noch ein wenig extremer
2. Bild
ISO 400, Verschlußzeit 1/160s, Brennweite 17mm, f/6,3 -> besser wäre gewesen
ISO 100, Verschlußzeit 1/40s, Brennweite 17mm, f/6,3 bzw.
ISO 200, Verschlußzeit 1/40s, Brennweite 17mm, f/8 (für noch mehr Tiefenschärfe)

Nicht nur das Rauschen sinkt mit sinkender ISO (was in dem verwendeten Bereich sowieso egal wäre) auch der Dynamikumfang steigt und somit auch die Bearbeitsungsreserve für nachträgliche Korrekturen.

Vom fotografischen Standpunkt würde ich sagen, daß die Bilder insgesamt interessant wirken, wenngleich mir das eine oder andere Mal das Motiv nicht sofort ins Auge springt (Stiegenfoto). Beim letzten Seefoto hätte ich den Vordergrund (den du links und rechts schon ansatzweise mitgenommen hast) noch verstärkt ins Bild genommen.
Sehr schön gefällt mir, daß es in keinem der Bilder zu deutlichen Überstrahlungen des Himmels kommt. Gut gemacht (bzw. hat die Kamera gut gemacht - je nachdem welchen Modus du verwendet hast).

Aber Schönheit liegt im Auge des Betrachters und nur weil ich diese Dinge bemerke heißt es noch lange nicht, daß die Bilder nicht wirken
