Keine panik, sage das nicht weil ich es irgendwo gelesen habe. Hier warum ich so denke.

Habe mir vonr 2 monaten nageleneus Dell notebook gekauft. Dazu eine Vista Ultimate lizenz. So weit so gut. Nach einer woche war das laptop ein wasserschaden und irreparabel bzw. wuerde reparatur mehr kosten als neues geraet. MS kontaktiert ob ich die lizenz auf dem heim PC verwenden kann da es das notebook ja nicht mehr gibt. Die antwort war ein deutliches "nein, aber das steht sowieso in den lizenzbestimmungen". Selbstverstaendlich gibt es auch keine kohle zurueck oder sonstwas. Danke MS

falsche Frage an MS und somit falsche Antwort .... richtige Frage wäre:

Freundlichkeit am Telefon ist natürlich Voraussetzung, den Hassgefühlen kann man ja nach dem Telefonat freien Lauf lassen.

Ich bitte um Neuaktivierung meiner Vista Lizenz, weil ich z.B.:

einen neuen PC habe / ein neues Mainboard / HW installlert habe, wobei eine Neulizenzierung verlangt wird / ein "dep....." Update erhalten habe, wobei ebenfalls eine Neulizenzierung verlangt wird ....

==> diese Info bekam ich direkt von der MS Hotline

Die Lizenzbestimmungen sagen eindeutig -> eine Installation auf e i n e m PC.

Es kann dich nienand zwingen das du die nächsten Jahre ein und den selben PC benutzt.

Das einzige was man dann gefragt werden könnte wäre entweder

1) die 1.Gruppe der ID am Bildschirm
2) die Produkt ID auf der Verpackung
3) auf wievielen PC's man das Vista jetzt installiert hat --> logische Antwort .. 1 PC

und das geht auich bei OEM / DSP Versionen.

.... also meine VISTA Version (DSP) habe ich schon 4x aktivieren lassen - warum ? - anderes Systemboard / andere PC / zusätzliche HW .... und wieder neues Systemboard.

Mir ist das im Prinzip egal, wenn ich könnte würde ich jede Woche ein neues Systemboard einbauen und wieder aktvieren, rein aus Prinzip weil die so "dep.." waren, dass sie diese Art der Aktivierung eingeführt haben.

Ist im Prinzip ein MS Problem - hättens eine andere Art der Aktivierung gemacht.

dafür ist eine OEM-Lizenz auch viel billiger (jg1970 am 05.11.2007, 16:29:44)
