Servus,

bin am überlegen mir ein neues GPS Gerät zuzulegen. Zu den normalen GPS Geräten gibts ja jede Menge Threads hier im Forum. Mich würde interessieren, welche Erfahrungen ihr mit der Navigon Software in Verbindung mit einem iPhone 3GS gemacht habt.

Was ich bisher so gelesen habe dürften die Karten in Österreich ja nicht immer aktuell sein und es klagen auch hin und wieder ein paar über schlechten GPS Empfang und komische Umkehrmeldungen mitten auf der Autobahn.

Ich habe Navigon D-A-CH drauf, und bin vollstens zufrieden, die Karten sind schon neu, also zum Zeitpunkt al sich es vor 1/2 Jahr kaufte noch aktuell.

mitten auf der Autobahn Umkehrmeldungen, hatte ich erst ein einziges Mal, und das auf ner Bundesstrasse, und da hab ich das Handy kurz von der Scheibe entfernt sodass der GPS Empfang kurz gestört war.
Positionssuche geht überraschend schnell, und die Navigon Software finde ich auch am entwickeltesten.
Tomtom finde ich garnicht so gut am iPhone, hatte bereits Tomtom und Navigon am 3G S, und Navigon hat mich eher überzeugt, auch von der Bedienung her, da ich eher der Typ bin der das Navi erst während dee Fahrt einrichtet usw.

sry für die elend langen Absätze, wenn das mal vorkommt, schreib ich am iPhone die Posts

jedoch als vollwertiges Navi würde ich kein einziges App fürs iPhone empfehlen, da "richtige" Navis ne bessere Akkulaufzeit haben (Stichwort: Zufuß navigieren) und auch oft bessere, genauere, schnellere, was weis ich, jedenfalls bessere Empfänger haben als ein Handy. Ausserdem sagt mir auch die Integration mit dem Telefonbuch sehr zu, da man wenn die Kontaktinfos gespeichert sind mit Adresse, noch einfacher den Namen raussucht wenn ne Adresse vorhanden ist, ob TomTom das kann weiß ich nicht.

Aber für hin und wieder wenn ein Ladegerät im Auto vorhanden ist, spricht mMn nichts gegen ein iPhone als Navi, vorallem da die Apps um die 50 bis 100€ kosten, und ein anständiges normales Navi gleich mal 200 bis 400€, und wenn das Endgerät (iPhone) schon vorhanden ist, warum nicht gleich Navi am iPhone?

Handy hab ich immer dabei, Navi aber nur wenn ich glaube es zu brauchen.
