Servus,

bin am überlegen mir ein neues GPS Gerät zuzulegen. Zu den normalen GPS Geräten gibts ja jede Menge Threads hier im Forum. Mich würde interessieren, welche Erfahrungen ihr mit der Navigon Software in Verbindung mit einem iPhone 3GS gemacht habt.

Was ich bisher so gelesen habe dürften die Karten in Österreich ja nicht immer aktuell sein und es klagen auch hin und wieder ein paar über schlechten GPS Empfang und komische Umkehrmeldungen mitten auf der Autobahn.

Hallo!

Ich habe seit ca. 2 Monaten die Navigon Europe Software fürs iPhone.

1.) Zum Empfang:

Der schlechte Empfang hat nichts! mit der Software zu tun, sondern mit dem recht schlechten integrierten GPS des iPhones. Ich habe die Navigon Software in Verbindung mit der aktiven TomTom Halterung http://geizhals.at/a496031.html
und kann es nur weiter empfehlen

+guter Empfang mit der Halterung
+Ton wird gut wiedergegeben über die Halterung
+Audioausgang und USB Anschluss zum Aufladen des iPhones auf der Halterung
+Radarwarner sind erstklassig
+- Karten, sind soweit ich war, recht in Ordnung, teils aber doch recht alt, z.B. S2 Richtung Gänserndorf das neue Autobahnteilstück, ist leider nicht drauf

-Halterung teils recht wackelig, kann man nur halbwegs gut befestigen, wenn die unterseite am Autocockpit aufliegt, auf der Scheibe weiter oben wackelt es dass es ärger nicht geht.
-Software nur im Hochformat des iPhones übersichtlich (meiner Meinung nach) im Querformat, so komisch es klingt, ist es wesentlich unübersichtlicher, weil das iPhone Display im Vergleich doch recht klein ist.
-iPhone passt nicht mit Schutzcover in die Halterung
-Preis, ist doch recht hoch, wenn man bedenkt 99 für die Software, 99 für die Halterung (Blödmarkt), muss man hald schaun wann die Navigon Software wieder im Angebot für 74,99€ oder so ist.
