welchen sinn haben die ganzen bildformate, die es bei filmen gibt? ich habe mir gerade American Psycho auf DVD bestellt und mußte feststellen, dass der plötzlich im 2.35:1-format ist, sprich fette balken oben und unten. im TV wurde er bspw. im "normalen" filmformat mit kleinen schwarzen balken gesendet. was hat das ganze für einen sinn? oder wird der film auf 16:9 bildschirmen anders angezeigt?
kann man das format von DVDs nicht umstellen, damit man auf einem normalen fernseher auch mehr bild erhält? wie ist es überhaupt möglich, dass filme im TV tw. "fullscreen" gezeigt werden, während sie auf DVD auf 2.35:1 sind? vielleicht kann mir ja da jemand logische antworten geben. danke!
