Gestern haben sie im Kultur-Teil der ZIB gesagt, dass die Einspielergebnisse von Filmen
der "Traumfabrik" Hollywood beständig am Abnehmen sind. Speziell im Action-Bereich
wurden heuer im Vergleich zum Vorjahr 30% weniger eingenommen; selbst die
angesagtesten Knüller floppten hinsichtlich der Erwartungen. Stabil bleiben
hingegen die anderen Kathegorien (Komödie, Herzschmerz, Zeichentrick).

Nun, das liegt meiner Meinung nach nicht zuletzt daran, daß die Scripts eines durchschnittlichen "Actionknallers" so durchsichtig sind wie die Hadern einer Schönheitstänzerin. Ein Film ist halt fad, wenn man nach 10 Minuten schon weiß wie er ausgeht, egal wie toll die Special Effects sind.

Es würde außerdem helfen, die Erwartungen der Realität anzupassen. Wir befinden uns mitten in der Zeit mit dem bösen, bösen R-Wort, da haben die Leute nunmal für Luxus (und, betrachtet man mal die Preise im Kino, das IST Luxus) weniger Geld. Statt 2x im Monat geht man nun eben einmal alle 2 Monate ins Kino, und statt einmal im Monat ärgert man sich einmal alle 2 Monate, weil man sein teures Geld für einen Schrottfilm weggeworfen hat (um einen Freund zu zitieren, "das sind auch 2 Stunden meines Lebens die ich nimmer wieder bekomm").

Es an den Raubkopien festzumachen ist zu billig. Wäre das der Grund, dann würden auch die anderen Kategorien entsprechend leiden, oder will uns die Filmindustrie jetzt reindrücken, nur Actionfans sind vehemente Raubkopierer? Und grad Zeichentrick- und Komödienfilme, sprich jene, die von THX und Riesenleinwand am wenigsten profitieren und wo's de facto wurscht ist ob man sie sich im Kino anschaut oder am Computerbildschirm, die sollen die Leute ins Kino locken und gerade die sollen nicht raubkopiert werden?

Die traurige Wahrheit ist: Was aktuell an Actionfilmen produziert wird ist nicht mal die Bandbreite wert um sie zu klauen.
