Also ich hab meine 16Mbit/s nicht nur beim chello-Speedtest, sondern auch außerhalb vom Chello-netzt, z.B. bei den meisten Servern auf http://www.speedtest.net/ und auch auf einigen Downloadservern. Ich schätz mal, die anderen können das einfach nicht liefern, möglicherweise kann es der TU-Server im Momemnt auch nicht (ich hatte gestern Nachmittag und gerade vorher je ca. 1MB/s). Man kann nicht davon ausgehen, dass ein Server zu jeder Zeit die gleiche Bandbreite liefern kann, der selbe Server muß auch nicht immer gleich stark ausgelastet sein.

Und natürlich kann auch ein Barebone bzw. ein großer Knotenpunkt mal überlastet sein, aber ich glaub da hilfts nicht immer was den Provider zu wechseln, weil soviel ich weiß laufen in Wien alle Leitungen teilweise über die selben Knotenpunkte der TA, zumindestens hatte ich beim Chello mal einen Ausfall, weil ein Knotenpunkt der TA ausgefallen war.

Und dass man bei 4Mbit/s weniger leicht einen Leistungseinbruch hat, ist auch klar, selbst wenn bei mir mal die Leistung etwas einbricht, hab ich normalerweise immer noch >8Mbit/s, aber >95% der zeit hab ich schon die vollen 16Mbit/s.

Ich hatte bis jetzt übrigens 90% aller Einnbrüche kurz nach einer Speederhöhung, aber bevor diese offiziell bestättigt wurde (d.h. auch für bestehende Kunden, nicht nur für Neukunden), also wie noch nicht alles umgestellt war. Da habnes dann wohl noch Zeit gebraucht, um ihre Infrastruktur wirklich anzupassen und das deshalb auch noch nicht offiziell bestätigt.
