Das glaub ich einfach nicht.
1. Kannst du die Linux Distributionen auch downloaden und das auch noch gratis.
2. Ist bei Windows XP nicht auch andere Software dabei, die vielleicht nicht jedermann braucht? Dummerweise lassen sich einige der Programme nicht einmal deinstallieren.

Ja, nur leider gibts halt genügend Leut, die glauben, dass Windows ja sowas tolles ist und die anderen brauchen Windows, weils ja sonst jeder hat.
In punkto Stabilität, Sicherheit und Geschwindigkeit ist Linux Windows um Häuser voraus. Allein so Ideen wie Updates zukünftig auch ohne Zustimmung herunterzuladen und zu installieren, würds bei Linux nie geben.
Microsoft entmündigt die Nutzer seines eigenen Betriebssystems immer mehr.
Bei Linux kannst du jederzeit tun und lassen was du willst und hast keine Einschränkungen.

Weil die meisten PCs schon mit Windows ausgeliefert werden und wenn manche DAUs was von WinXP hören, glauben sie das beste Betriebssystem zu haben.
Die Spieler brauchen sowieso XP und viele andere kennen die Alternativen einfach nicht.
Es braucht sich keiner Windows XP + Office um 700 kaufen, sondern Linux und OpenOffice tuns nicht genauso sondern noch besser.
Bugs werden um etliches schneller ausgebügelt, als es bei Microsoft der Fall ist und gegen so gut wie alle Viren ist Linux sowieso resistent.
