Nein es gibt noch nix offizielles, aber wer etwas weiß, soll mal hier posten.

Doch genau darum geht es. wenn sony das macht läuft es gefahr kunden zu
verlieren. sind es zuviele werden sie sowas zukünfitg nicht mehr machen.
ändert es nix an der verkaufsplanung/erwartung/tatsächliche verkäufe können
sie eh ankündigen was sie wollen... warum dann nicht machen? nett ist keiner
in dem business.

Schon klar, dass es hier ums Geld geht. Vielleicht sehe ich das auch romantisch verklärt, da ich seit gut 20 Jahren begeisterter Video/PC-Spieler bin, aber das was Sony hier abzieht ist einzigartig.
Aufgrund solcher Marketing-Taktiken hat z.B. die Dreamcast ein unrühmliches Ende genommen, wohlgemerkt eine Konsole die ihrer Zeit weit voraus war. Man stelle sich mal vor, wir hätten heute noch Sega als kleinen innovativen Hersteller, ich denke der Markt wäre viel weiter. Nintendo hat den Gamecube auch nur dank des Gameboys überlebt.

Najo, soooo viele Kunden werdens schon nicht verlieren. Brauchst ja nur mal schaun wieviele Sony-Jünger unterwegs sind. Die Marketingabteilung hat mal wieder ganze Arbeit geleistet. Es ist mir nach wie vor ein Rätsel, warum sich soviele Menschen von einem Konzern, zum wiederholten male ver*rschen lassen.

Wobei ich das auch nicht komplett verteufeln will. Sony hat sicherlich einen großen Anteil daran, dass unser Hobby massentauglich geworden ist. Allerdings gebe ich zu, dass ich ab und zu mit Wehmut an die alten Zeiten zurückdenke.

Wollte auf dem ofiziellen bekannten markt bleiben. was es alles an geräten für
die szene gab angefangen von leerkassetten für alle systeme usw. war ja nicht
wirklich marktrelevant. genauso könnte heute ein 3rd-party einen chip
entwickeln der ps3-ps2 zulässt. das von dir gepostete war ja auch nicht von N

Najo, der Converter war ja scheinbar lizensiert...

Bin ja mal gespannt was aus der dieser Geschichte mit dem Patent der PS2-Emulation wird. Würd mich nicht wundern, wenn da mal ein aufpreispflichtiges Update rauskommt.

Das es allgemein nicht so sein sollte ist eh klar und steht imho nicht zur
diskussion. wie weit es absichtlich verstreute falschinformation so weit vor
der veröffentlichung sind wissen halt nur insider.

Also das hat definitiv System. Man erinnere sich an die Geschichte mit den PS2-Raketenleitsystem für Saddam Hussein und den angeblichen Zoll-Problemen, weil die Playstation so stark ist, dass sie als Supercomputer durchgeht.
Alles nur Marketing-Gewäsch und die Jünger fressens ohne nachzudenken.
