Hi Leute, ich bin kein Finanz-Genie, kenn mich mit Steuern, Inflation, Zinsen usw. wenig aus, deshalb meine Frage hier.

Ich bin am Konto die meiste Zeit im Plus, maximal 2 Tage im Monat gelegentlich im Minus, meine Partnerin ebenso, wir kaufen uns gern schöne Dinge, oder Dinge, die wir brauchen, haben aber keine grossen Anschaffungen.

Meine Frage hierzu wäre, ist es derzeit sinnvoller, Geld für Anschaffungen zuhause auf die Seite zu legen und das Konto sogut wie immer auf 0 zu halten, oder ist es sinnvoller, soviel Plus wie möglich am Konto zu haben, oder alles was Plus ist, auf ein Sparbuch umzulegen?

Was ist die optimale Variante.

In dieser vermeintlichen Milchmädchenrechnung fehlt leider ein wichtiger Faktor: Die Kontoführungsgebühren und sonstige Spesen des Geldverkehrs.

Annahme: 60€ Kontoführungsgebühren per anno (mein erfahrungsgemäßer, eh noch humaner, Durchschnitt; Kenne Leute, die noch wesentlich mehr zahlen!)
Bei dem von dir gegebenen Zinssatz, wird bei jedem der im Jahresdurchschnitt nicht mindestens 6400€ Euro auf der Bank liegen hat das Guthaben alleine durch diese Gebühren und Spesen auf lange Sicht aufgefressen. DAZU kommt dann noch die Inflation. Das Problem ist also das Bankkonto an sich!

Bei deinem Beispiel ergänzt durch meine Gebühren sind wir dann bei einem Verlust von 50,62€ [60€ Kontoführung - (12,5€ Zinsen - 25% KEST)], also ein Minus von 5,06% allein durch Gebühren. Dann noch 2,3% Inflationsverlust also bleiben dann in absoluten Zahlen € 927,53 oder 7,25% Verlust(!) im ersten Jahr.

JEDER 08/15-Bankkunde ohne großes Vermögen, überdurchschnittliches Einkommen o.ä. verliert durch das Bankkonto an sich noch schneller Geld als wenn er es sich vom Arbeitgeber bar auszahlen ließe und zu Hause unter das Kopfkissen legen würde und "nur" die Inflation in Kauf nehmen müsste. Es ist bei uns allen die Bequemlichkeit, die das verhindert.

Und bitte komm mir jetzt nicht mit "Man bezahlt ja heutzutage auch keine Kontoführungsgebühren." o.ä. Selbst wenn DU keine bezahlen solltest, kann das sicherlich nicht für den Großteil der Bevölkerung gelten. Außerdem hilft es nix zB bei der tollen Easybank zu sein und dann nicht mal eine Diners zu bekommen, weil die Easybank keine Einlösezusage her gibt und man diverse andere "Problemchen" dadurch haben kann.

Das einzige Argument, welches imho heute noch für die Banken gelten kann, ist die "Sicherheit" im Brandfall oä., die bei einer Bank ja doch wesentlich höher ist.
