Tja, was soll ich sagen, eine illustre Runde von Fotobegeisterten, die wieder in regem Erfahrungsaustausch waren. Siegerehrung der letzten Challenge, noch einmal Gratulation dem Gewinner r'n'r, der uns hoffentlich ein spannendes neues Thema als Aufgabe für die neue Challenge finden wird.

Lokal war gut gewählt.

Bin gespannt, wie sich die GH-FC dieses Mal entwickeln wird.

ich wollte mich an dieser Stelle auch noch einmal speziell bedanken, dass Du extra für uns Deine EOS RT mitgenommen hast!

Ein echtes Privileg, diese geradezu "sagenumwobene", sicher aber speziellste aller Canon EOS SLRs ausprobieren zu dürfen! Ich gehe davon aus, dass es in ganz Österreich nur eine (fast) an den Fingern abzählbare Anzahl Exemplare gibt. Noch dazu solche in perfektem Erhaltungs- und Funktionszustand! Da hast Du wirklich ein besonderes Gerät, das mit Sicherheit von Jahr zu Jahr "historisch und finanziell" wertvoller wird!

Mehr zur EOS RT die mit ihrem feststehenden Spiegel (!) ein absolutes Highlight nicht nur in der Canon EOS-Modellapalette einnimmt, sondern darüber hinaus in der gesamten SLR-Geschichte kann man u.a. hier nachlesen:

Was einem beim seidenweichen Auslösen dieser Kamera unmittelbar und "sinnlich" klar wird, ist wieviel Krawall und vor allem Erschütterung der Spiegelschlag bei einer "herkömmlichen" (D)SLR verursacht!

Es bekräftigt mich in meiner Überzeugung, das Mechanik auch in feinster und hochpräziser Ausführung in den digitalen Kameras längst nur noch ein notwendiges Übel ist.

Sowohl der bewegliche Spiegel als auch der mechanische Verschluss sind am Ende ihres "product life cycle" angelangt. Und das ist auch gut so!

Her mit einem tollen elektronischen Sucher und mit spiegellosen digitalen Wechselobjektivkameras ("EVIL" - Electronic Viewfinder Interchangable Lens), die ebenso innovativ sind wie 1989 die Canon EOS RT. Und im Unterschied zu damals ist m.E. dafür auch der kommerzielle Erfolg am Markt "garantiert". Die Zeit ist reif!
