Ist Android ohne die Zusatzprogramme etwa (so wie Windows Mobile) zu
kompliziert zu bedienen?

Ich denke nicht, jedoch nicht so rund wie iOS. Android muss punkto UI-Design noch viel aufholen, denn zur Zeit wirkt es einfach noch zuviel wie Frickelwerk. Apple macht hier durch seine restriktive Haltung zumindest in puncto UI nix falsch. Bei Android hast immer das Problem, dass jede Anwendung etwas anders gestaltet ist und deswegen sind Hersteller wie HTC eben bemüht mit einer eigenen Oberfläche Ordnung rein zu bringen, sodass man auf externe Apps großteils verzichten kann (zB Friendstream statt Twitter/Facebook-App). Ein gutes Beispiel wären die E-Mail-Clients in Android (Gmail, E-Mail, K9-Mail,...). Jeder dieser Clients hat ein eigenes Aussehen und eine leicht differierende Bedienung. Und so ist es bei sehr, sehr vielen Apps. Bei der einen hast du auf der Menütaste ein Einstellungsmenü, bei der anderen ist dort nur eine Versionsinfo hinterlegt, bei der dritten garnix, etc...
Hier ist das Apple-System einfach durchgängiger designed, mit den entsprechenden Vorteilen (leichtere Bedienung,..) und Nachteilen (ggf weniger Funktionen,..).

Die Updatepolitik von Android liegt mir auch nicht wirklich, da es imho so wie es jetzt ist, nicht weitergehen kann. 1/2 Jahr auf ein Update warten und dann ist schon wieder eine neue Version da. Das muss Google direkt in die Hand nehmen und selbst die Updates verteilen und entscheiden, welche Geräte diese noch bekommen und welche nicht. Immer auf einen quasi "Hardwarehersteller" zu warten, bis sich dieser vielleicht bequemt ein Update nachzuschieben, ist nicht so der Bringer. Vor allem, da diese Hersteller lieber Geräte verkaufen statt zu supporten.

Nach einem 3/4 Jahr mit dem HTC Legend und diversen Systemversionen (Sense mit 2.1, Cyanogenmod 6.0/6.1, Sense mit 2.2) bin ich fürs Erste mal weg von Android. In 2 Jahren werd ich es mir nochmal anschauen, denn dann, so glaube ich zumindest, wird es wahrscheinlich das beste OS am Smartphone-Markt sein (außer Nokia zaubert ein Symbian XP Ultra 14th-Edition aus dem Hut

).

ATM bei iPhone4 gelandet und voll zufrieden. Vor- und Nachteile haben beide Systeme, aber das Eier-Telefon wirkt momentan einfach noch mehr "aus einem Guss".
