Meine Radeon 9800pro 128 mb von sapphire erzeugt leider pixelfehler! Hab nichts overclocked..! habs beim NRE kauft und nachgfragt was ich machen soll die ham gsagt, dass die gegen 20€ die graka einschicken und das dauert dann 4-6(!!!) wochen so *PIEP* habs am 14. 01. 04 kauft, sind diese 20€ normal??

Lieber CWSoft, (und auch an gewisse andere "Realitätsverweigerer" hier)

Aus meiner bisherigen persönlicher Erfahrung (EInschätzung), muß ich Dir, lieber CWSoft leider widersprechen ! (und ich finde KarlToffel hat sehr wohl Recht mit seinen Aussagen hier..)

Auch ich hatte vor wenigen Wochen das Problem einer defekten Festplatte auf die ich (nach vorherigem Online-Check auf der Herstellerhomepage) nachweislich noch Hersteller Garantie hatte/ bzw. noch habe.

Mein Händler den ich daraufhin telefonisch kontaktierte, nannte mir einen ähnlichen Betrag (~ 20 Euro) den er als Versandkosten mir zu verrechnen hätte und den ich bei Erhalt der Ersatzplatte in ca 4 Wochen zu zahlen hätte. Ich habe ihm die Platte dann gebracht, er tippte dann  mal gschwind kurz am Computer herum ( Name u. Telnr., Produkt, Fehlerbezeichnung) druckte mir das als Auftrags-Bestätigung aus, und sagte noch ich würde in ca 4 Wochen telefon. verständigt werden. -  Das alles hat bei mir bloß wenige Minuten gedauert !!!

Übrigens nach bisher ca. 3 Wochen habe ich heute mal einen *RMA-Status request* online durchgeführt (geht auch mit der SerienNummer der defekten Festplatte!),.nur um zu sehen wie weit die schon sind....und...siehe da... am Bildschirm kam bloß ein  "RMA-Request does not exist" !!  (Ich hab das mehrmals probiert, hab die Seriennummer gecheckt usw., hat aber alles gestimmt.)

Welchen Schluß ich daraus ziehen könnte ?  Nun, es erzeugt in mir das ungute Gefühl, das (auch ?) mein Händler für die Platte vielleicht (ich weiß es halt nicht)

1.) möglicherweise gar KEINE RMA-Nummer angefordert hat,
2.) sie gar  NICHT extra gesondert versenden mußte, (die regelmäßigen Geschäftsbeziehungen / Lieferungen vom/zum Hersteller machen das vermutlich überflüssig)

Außerdem finde ich, sollte diese Dienstleistung (wie z.B. Auftragsbestätigung für diese "RMA-Abwicklung" ausdrucken, usw.) ohnehin im Verkaufspreis schon miteinkalkuliert sein, denn eine mit dem Produkt  quasi "MITGEKAUFTE" Garantie sollte man als Endkunde im relativ unwahrscheinlichen Fall eines Defekts doch kein 2.Mal bezahlen müssen !!?....(hat KarlToffel schon an anderer Stelle (ging da um eine Fujitsu Festplatte v. Ditech) bereits sehr gut kommentiert.)

wofür dann ~20.-Euro nun kassiert werden fragt man sich  - ich mich auch.

Übrigens, auch bei CWSoft habe ich damals telefon. angefragt was diese Garantieabwicklung "dort" kosten würde, der junge Mann am Telefon nannte mir - nachdem er einige minutenlang nachfragen/ich warten mußte (scheint wohl entgegen Deiner obigen Aussage wohl doch nicht so oft bei Euch vorzukommen) als Preis die Arbeitszeit, das wären so ca. im Bereich 45 o. 47.- Euro (u. einige Cents, habs wo genau notiert) PLUS! Versandkosten. (Platte neukaufen wäre hier wohl billiger, als reguläre Hersteller-Garantie zu beanspruchen ?)

Hab auch bei Hotline vom Hersteller angerufen, die hättens sogar gratis vom Endkunden abgeholt (Bedingung wäre bekanntl noch die korrekte Verpackung  (siehe alles Herstellerhomepages) )- diese exakte Verpackungsprozedur wollte ich mir nicht antun, was aber für einen Händler, der  hie und da  von einzelnen Kunden eine defekte Platte in seinen speziell-gepolsterten Kartons als defekt MIT-zurückschickt,  wohl keinen besonderer Zeit- oder Kostenaufwand darstellen dürfte, oder ? Ein Bekannter hat mir mal erzählt "sein Händler" macht ihm das alles kostenlos. Wenn man sehr gute Beziehungen zum Händler hat, geht das wohl auch. Wennst nur "irgendein Kunde" bist, dann darfst für jeden Handgriff extra brennen.

Soviel nur zum Thema "Stundenlange und für den Händler ach so Aufwendige RMA-Abwicklung".
